New Features & Improvements

Adding Entra lD support for PostgreSQL

You can now use Microsoft Entra ID authentication to connect to PostgreSQL databases, as an alternative to traditional username and password authentication. For more information, refer to the PostgreSQL connector documentation. 

Lakehouse Connector for Fabric Pipeline

Lakehouse connector now supports to read delta table with delta column mapping and deletion vector in pipeline copy and lookup activity.

Lakehouse connector now supports to read delta table with change data feed enabled in pipeline copy and lookup activity.

Data consistency in Fabric Pipeline Copy Activity

Upgrade to use modern checksum algorithm when validating files read from AWS S3.

Bug Fixes

Lakehouse connector: fixed an issue that caused copy failed when upsert into Lakehouse table due to dll file missing. 

Snowflake connector: fixed an issue that caused copy failed when read data from Snowflake storage integration if schema is not accessible. 

Snowflake connector: fixed an issue that caused incorrect result from copy if read source from Azure blob storage with wildcard configurations. 

Power BI Desktop Compatibility

This update brings the on-premises data gateway up to date with the August 2025 release of Power BI Desktop.

This version of the gateway will ensure that the reports that you publish to the Power BI Service and refresh via the gateway will go through the same query execution logic/run-time as in the August version of Power BI Desktop.
