  • Easily ingest data from your recently used tables by choosing from the recent tables list,
  • Chat with your data to apply transformations to find the data you want.

Get Data Copilot in Dataflow Gen2 (Generally Available)

Efficiently connecting to your data is important. With the power of new get data Copilot capability supported in Dataflow Gen2, users can quickly connect to existing resources or set up new connections with ease.

  • Quickly connect to existing data resources by typing the existing connection name in natural language, then preview your data before loading.
  • Easily create a new connection by describing your requirements, and Copilot will guide you through a filtered get data wizard or a prefilled connection creation page to set up.

Natural Language to Custom Column Copilot (Generally Available)

This Copilot will be a revolutionary update to the custom column experience! With the new copilot experience inside the custom column dialog, you’ll find a special input textbox marked with the Copilot icon, ready to turn your descriptions into actionable formulas:

  • Simply generate the custom column by describing the logic you need for your column.
  • Save your time and effort because Copilot interprets these instructions and instantly generates the formula.

Explain Dataflow Copilot (Generally Available)

AI-powered assistant within Dataflow Gen2 that helps you interpret Mashup (Power Query M) code in natural language.

  • Efficiently apply the Copilot summary into each query and step description to better document the power query for others to easily understand.
  • Efficiently use Copilot’s clear explanations as documentation for each query and step, making Power Query straightforward for all users.
