On-premises data gateway April 2025 release

Here is the April 2025 release of the on-premises data gateway (version 3000.266).

New Features

Fabric Pipeline Copy Activity Now Supports time Data Type
You can now copy data with the time data type using the Pipeline Copy activity. This enhancement improves compatibility and reduces data conversion overhead when working with time-specific columns.

Teradata Support in Fabric Pipeline Copy Activity
We’ve expanded source and sink support for Teradata in Copy activity scenarios. You can now read from and write to your on-premises Teradata systems seamlessly through the gateway.

Power BI Desktop Compatibility

This update brings the on-premises data gateway up to date with the April 2025 release of Power BI Desktop.

This version of the gateway will ensure that the reports that you publish to the Power BI Service and refresh via the gateway will go through the same query execution logic/run-time as in the April version of Power BI Desktop. View the data connectivity section of Power BI’s April 2025 feature summary for updates on relevant connectors.
