The July 2025 release of the on-premises data gateway is (version 3000.278).

Bug Fixes

Fix for Custom Proxy Settings Loss During Upgrade from Pre-3000.258 Versions

Fixed an issue where custom proxy settings for Fabric Pipelines services were lost during upgrades from versions earlier than 3000.258.

Power BI Desktop Compatibility

This update brings the on-premises data gateway up to date with the July 2025 release of Power BI Desktop.

This version of the gateway will ensure that the reports that you publish to the Power BI Service and refresh via the gateway will go through the same query execution logic/run-time as in the July version of Power BI Desktop.
