With the new unified creation flow, you’ll have a streamlined way to select the exact workspace and folder where your items belong. More importantly, this improvement brings consistency and cohesion to item creation across all Fabric items, so you can stay organized and productive.

What’s the new item creation experience?

The enhanced item creation experience in Fabric is all about consistency, efficiency, and control. Now, no matter what type of item you’re adding, the process feels familiar and smooth every time. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Easily create new items with fewer clicks.
  • Effortlessly select the destination workspace and folder path for your item.
  • While creating your item, you can immediately assign it to task within your workspace.
  • If your organization has a mandatory label policy, you can apply sensitivity labels during item creation.

Explore and leverage it to create new ML models and experiments

Select your desired item type from any entry point, simply open the creation dialog, choose exactly where your item should live by specifying the workspace and folder, and then assign it to relevant tasks. If needed, you can apply sensitivity labels—all within a single, streamlined flow. This unified experience makes it simple to keep your projects organized and compliant right from the start.
