Microsoft Fabric approved as a Service within the FedRAMP High Authorization for Azure Commercial

Microsoft Fabric is now included within the US Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authorization for Azure Commercial. This Provisional Authorization to Operate (P-ATO) within the existing FedRAMP High Azure Commercial environment was approved by the FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board (JAB).

FedRAMP High is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. FedRAMP enables government agencies to adopt cloud services with confidence, knowing that they meet high security standards and comply with federal regulations. FedRAMP authorization is a rigorous and comprehensive process that involves extensive documentation, testing, and auditing by independent third-party assessors. FedRAMP authorization demonstrates Microsoft’s commitment to delivering cloud services that meet the most stringent security and compliance requirements of the US Government.

The FedRAMP High authorization demonstrates our commitment to helping government agencies power their AI transformation and reimagine how to connect, manage, and analyze their data, while maintaining strict security and compliance requirements.
